This is the most economical option when your on a budget. Patches that are 75% embroidered or less means that the majority of the patch will be canvas “twill” as a color and the rest of the design embroidered. This is a typical for most scout patches, name badges, and smaller budgets.

100% Full Embroidery:

This will have the highest quality look and feel. All patch designs can be fully 100% embroidered. So what does it mean? Simply that your patches are completely embroidered even the background color and will not have twill.

Figuring out the patch size
It’s a very simple equation. Simply add your width and height of the patch together and then divide them by 2. Below is a graphical example.

The length of your patch = 4″
The width of your patch = 2″
4 + 2 = 6, divided by 2 = 3
3″ will be the patch size

Hats: If your are going on the front of baseball hats then you want 2.5” height to be a maximum size, any larger will not usually fit the front panel.

Uniform patches: Military, Police, Fire, and First Responders would be 3.5”-5” overall size.

Scout Patches: Measure from 2”-3.5” overall depending on the use.
