Designing For Challenge Coins
Step 1:
Consider how artwork is converted to a coin. To drop the colored enamel in the physical coin, there must be raised metal to hold the color in place. It might help when designing to think of the metal like line art.

Choose the right metal for the right look. We offer a variety of metals to choose from!

Step 3:
Figure out which coin edges will enhance the design best.
How intricate is the design? Will it benefit more from a plain flat edge? Or will it look better with a more detailed edge?
